10-Year-Old E-Scooter Rider Injured in Meinerzhagen Accident
In Meinerzhagen, a 10-year-old riding an E-scooter was involved in a traffic accident, resulting in minor injuries. The child was taken to the Lüdenscheid Clinic by ambulance.
The incident occurred when the youngster, traveling on the sidewalk, suddenly veered onto the road, colliding with a car. The car sustained approximately €1,000 in property damage. Unfortunately, the E-scooter was not insured at the time of the accident. As of 2025, the name of the police officer responsible for the press service of the Cologne Police Department, who would typically handle such cases, remains unknown from available search results.
The 10-year-old's injury was thankfully minor, and they were promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. The uninsured E-scooter and the damaged car highlight the importance of proper insurance and safety measures in such vehicles.
