2025's NUFAM Unveiling: Unveiling Fresh Territories, Digital Sneak Peek, and Pioneering Perspective on Hydrogen Engines

The upcoming NUFAM 2025 trade fair in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, is set to be a significant event for the commercial vehicle industry, showcasing modern technology and future transportation concepts. One of the key features of NUFAM 2025 is the newly developed outdoor area, the Peter Gross Bau Areal (PGBA), which offers exhibitors optimal infrastructure and creates a unique outdoor experience for visitors.

This 90,000 square meter site, first used by NUFAM, will also host other events such as Recycling Active & Tiefbau Live in the future. With more than 2,500 parking spaces, the PGBA is designed for multifunctional use.

In addition to the four exhibition halls, NUFAM 2025 will feature a special exhibition on hydrogen technology. This event, taking place on 25 and 26 September 2025, will focus on the use of hydrogen combustion engines in commercial vehicles and construction machinery. Around 30 exhibitors are expected to participate, making it a significant showcase for hydrogen technology in the industry.

The Allianz Wasserstoffmotor e.V., a organisation dedicated to the procurement and distribution of hydrogen, as well as open framework conditions in European regulation, will hold its annual conference parallel to the special exhibition at NUFAM 2025. The conference aims to serve as a signal for the technical deployment readiness and an appeal to politics and industry to drive forward the expansion of hydrogen infrastructure.

NUFAM 2025 is expected to attract around 400 exhibitors, with tickets for the event now on sale. Options include day tickets, discounted entrance tickets, family tickets, and multi-day passes.

The organisers of NUFAM 2025 are aiming to offer exhibitors significantly expanded possibilities for presenting large machines and vehicles in the outdoor area. Further information on travel and overnight accommodation with motorhome or caravan can be found on the website of Messe Karlsruhe or the NUFAM fair guide from Nfz-Messe.com.

In addition to NUFAM 2025, other related events such as the IAA New Mobility World, ADAC Truck Grand Prix, transport logistic, road freight transport, express services, air cargo, and more, will also take place in Karlsruhe.

AC/DC will perform a concert at the PGBA on 17 August 2025, with up to 90,000 spectators expected. The Nfz-messe.com will accompany NUFAM 2025 with comprehensive special coverage.

NUFAM 2023 saw various events, including the Telematics Forum, Premium Safety Lockbox, and innovative transport solutions from F. X. Meiller Vehicle and Machinery Factory. The event also featured an interview with Jochen Bortfeld, NUFAM Project Leader, and Renault Trucks going fully electric.
