In a significant move towards digital inclusion, telecommunications provider O2 Telefónica has upgraded a mobile communications site to 5G in Menzenschwand, Black Forest. As of March 31, 2025, O2 Telefónica boasts 34.4 million mobile communications connections (excluding connections of third-party network operators). In the fixed network, the company offers leading technological diversity and geographical availability in Germany.
