Advertising firm m/SIX appoints Belinda Smith as CEO for the Americas region
Belinda Smith has taken up a new role as the CEO of m/SIX in the Americas. In her new position, Smith will be responsible for overseeing the agency's operations across multiple countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Uruguay.
Smith reports to Jess Burley, the global CEO of m/SIX. Her appointment comes after Amy Peleg, who previously held the position, stepped down.
Smith's move to m/SIX marks a return to the agency, as she had initial meetings with the team back in 2017. Her decision to join the agency may have been influenced by her previous experience at Electronic Arts, where she served as head of global marketing intelligence.
Electronic Arts, a gaming company that handles much of its media in-house, has chosen to work with m/SIX externally. The relationship between the two companies has been established for at least one year, with m/SIX being selected as Electronic Arts' global strategic external partner last year.
Smith feels strongly about the talent, leadership, strategic thinking, and solutions provided by m/SIX, and is excited to lead the team.
As a global media network, m/SIX spans across multiple countries. Smith's new role at the agency is a result of her past experiences and impressions of the agency, as well as her previous work at Electronic Arts.
In her new role, Smith will be responsible for the operations of the agency in the Americas. She will work closely with Burley to ensure the success of the agency in the region.
Smith's appointment is a significant addition to the leadership team at m/SIX, and is expected to help the agency continue to grow and succeed in the Americas.
