We are excited to announce that the latest update to EASE 5, the industry-leading acoustical simulation software, now offers enhanced support for HOLOPLOT Matrix Arrays. This update is a result of a collaboration between AFMG Technologies and HOLOPLOT, and has been highly praised by HOLOPLOT fellow Emad El-Saghir as the best possible solution for simulating HOLOPLOT Matrix Arrays.

The update allows all EASE 5 users, regardless of their loudspeaker choices, to access a 64-bit version of the calculation engine used by HOLOPLOT. This means that users can now model Matrix Arrays and Beam Optimizations in AFMG's Plan system design software with ease.

In the early days of the EASE/HOLOPLOT relationship, AFMG provided a dedicated server for HOLOPLOT to run calculations and simulations. This collaboration has proven beneficial in various projects, with comparisons between simulation results and real-world experience repeatedly confirming the accuracy of the simulations, even in difficult venues.

The enhanced support for cluster-type GLL files in EASE 5.59 and the improved data flow between HOLOPLOT Plan software and EASE 5 will further benefit users. The resulting array configurations can now be exported to EASE 5 for further analysis based on closed-room simulation.

The new performance requirement for HOLOPLOT simulations in the design of Sphere benefits all EASE 5 users. Beyond Sphere, EASE was utilized on other major HOLOPLOT projects, demonstrating its versatility and accuracy.

The addition of HOLOPLOT products in EASE 5 enables accurate closed-room performance metrics such as diffuse fields, Speech Transmission Index (STI), and auralization predictions. This objective validation, provided by a brand-independent software like EASE 5, is invaluable in modeling speaker systems and room acoustics.

According to Emad El-Saghir, a fellow at HOLOPLOT, the use of EASE in large projects like Sphere has proven its worth. He states that EASE is the choice of any consultant that wants to use HOLOPLOT Matrix Arrays. With the update, users can now experience accurate calculations for the Matrix Array inside a venue by using EASE 5.

The innovations in the X1 performance space were felt with EASE. Users can now investigate the possibilities and impact of using Matrix Arrays in any venue with the EASE 5 update. Stefan Feistel, AFMG's managing director, explained that the changes will benefit all end users of EASE 5.

In conclusion, the latest update to EASE 5 offers significant benefits for users interested in HOLOPLOT Matrix Arrays. The enhanced support, improved data flow, and accurate performance metrics make EASE 5 an essential tool for anyone looking to design and simulate HOLOPLOT systems.
