AI company Druid raises $31 million to speed up development of agentic AI platform
DRUID AI, a leading provider of conversational AI solutions, has announced a significant investment of $31 million in its Series C funding round. The fundraising was led by Cipio Partners, with participation from TQ Ventures, Karma Ventures, Smedvig, and Hoxton Ventures.
This investment is set to accelerate DRUID AI's expansion into the U.S. and other regions, bolstering its position as a global leader in enterprise AI solutions. According to Roland Dennert, managing partner at Cipio Partners, DRUID AI aligns with their investment strategy, focusing on growth-stage technology companies ready to scale.
DRUID AI was recently named a Challenger in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Conversational AI Platforms for 2025. The company serves over 300 customers and 200 partners across various sectors, including banking, insurance, healthcare, higher education, retail, and government.
Joseph Kim, CEO of DRUID AI, stated that the investment will help elevate businesses globally through agentic AI. DRUID's AI Conversational AI Platform (CAIP) enables intelligent automation through AI agents and orchestrates collaboration among multiple AI agents, business systems, and communication channels.
The platform achieves 98% first-response accuracy and has powered over 1 billion conversations. One of the notable users of DRUID AI's platform is Georgia Southern University, which uses it to offer dynamic and accurate real-time support to students, increasing enrollment and student retention.
The funding will be used to enhance DRUID AI's capabilities in conversational AI, further fueling technological advancements and strengthening its position in the market. Prior to joining DRUID AI, Joseph Kim had more than two decades of operating executive experience, most recently serving as CEO of SUMO Logic. He currently serves on the boards of directors of SmartBear and Andela.
Eaton, a power management company, recently introduced a new solution to identify large fluctuations in energy demand caused by the computing power of AI. This development underscores the growing importance of AI in various industries and the need for robust, efficient solutions like those provided by DRUID AI.
With over 500 AI agents in various stages of implementation, DRUID AI is poised for continued growth and innovation in the conversational AI space.
