Amazon sets the schedule for Prime Big Deal Days in October
Amazon's much-anticipated Prime Big Deal Days event is set to return for two days on October 8 and 9, 2025. This exclusive event, available only to Prime members, promises to offer extensive savings across a variety of product categories.
According to Jamil Ghani, vice president of Prime Worldwide, Prime Big Deal Days combined with unlimited fast, free delivery of 300+ million products across more than 35 categories year-round makes Prime membership a better value than ever before.
The event, which will be held in 19 countries, will feature deals on items like seasonal products, electronics, toys, apparel, and essentials. While the exact deals for 2025 have not been publicly disclosed yet, past Prime Big Deal Days and Prime Day events typically offer broad category discounts targeting Prime members.
Last year, U.S. Prime members bought "hundreds of millions of items" during the fall sale. Some Amazon devices, including the Blink Outdoor 4 camera system, a 40-inch Fire TV 2-Series, and Luna gaming controllers, have early deals with up to 55% off. Amazon is also promoting early Big Deal Days sales on premium home décor brands like NEST New York, Lenox, and Lodge.
In addition, Prime members can shop early for select fall deals before the official kickoff. Alexa users can set deal notifications and reminders for the event. Amazon now has over 200 million paid Prime members in 24 countries, with discounted memberships available for young adults, college students, and people who qualify for government assistance.
Amazon's generative AI-powered shopping assistant, Rufus, can answer shopping-related questions and discover personalized products, making it easier than ever for Prime members to find the best deals. The retailer is offering deals across over 35 product categories, including toys (Barbie, Squishmallows, Play-Doh, and Disney), beauty and fashion brands (Clinique, Too Faced, Florence by Mills, and Cider), and electronics (Beats, Samsung, and Fujifilm products).
The Prime Big Deal Days event was Amazon's largest ever October sales event in 2024. Amazon's focus on highlighting early deals from small businesses that are Black, women, or military family-owned brands adds to the event's appeal.
Stay tuned for official announcements as the date approaches for more details on the deals and brands that will be featured during the 2025 Prime Big Deal Days event.
