Apple TV+ Expands to More Smart TVs This Fall
Apple TV+, the tech giant's original video streaming service, is set to expand its reach this fall. It will be accessible via the Apple TV app on more devices, including select smart TVs from VIZIO, LG, and Sony. The service, which offers Apple TV channels, iTunes movies, and TV shows, is already available on many Samsung smart TVs and various Apple devices.
The Apple TV app, which houses Apple TV+, is now available in over 100 countries for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac users. This widespread accessibility allows users to enjoy a vast library of content, including Apple TV+ originals, on multiple devices.
AirPlay 2, which enables wireless streaming from Apple devices to compatible TVs, will also be available later this year for eligible VIZIO, LG, and Sony smart TVs. This means users can easily cast content from their iPhone, iPad, or Mac to their smart TVs using the Apple TV app.
With the expansion of the Apple TV app and AirPlay 2 support, Apple is making its content more accessible than ever. This move is expected to attract more users to Apple TV+ and other Apple services, further solidifying Apple's presence in the streaming market.
