Artificial intelligence video editing software unveiled by Evoto at a fruitful debut ceremony, showcasing high-definition enhancement capabilities.
Evoto, the AI-specialized photo editing software company based in Germany, has recently announced the launch of its flagship product's latest version, Evoto Desktop 6.0, and a new addition to its offerings, Evoto Video.
Evoto Desktop 6.0 brings a host of new features to the table. It includes AI culling, allowing users to filter out various criteria from their image library. The software also offers AI transform for quick perspective and geometric tweaks, background adjustment enhancements, and new portrait retouching enhancements. Evoto Desktop 6.0 uses a credit-based payment system and supports wireless tethering and real-time live view for over 1,000 different camera models.
A significant addition to the software is Cloud Spaces, a new workflow feature that allows collaborators to work via one Evoto account and sync edits, tags, effects, and metadata in real time.
Evoto Desktop 6.0 also boasts AI color enhancements with fully-customizable sliders for greater precision, auto masks, auto white balance, auto exposure, and scene enhancement.
In addition to Evoto Desktop 6.0, the company has introduced Evoto Video, a professional retouching tool designed for high-resolution, cinema-quality video. Evoto Video splits video into segments for precise adjustments and includes an AI Color Match function that allows users to instantly match a video's color grading to a reference video or photo without the need for LUTs or masks.
As for Evoto Video, it primarily focuses on portrait retouching, but plans are underway to expand to other retouching features. The company has not announced pricing models for Evoto Video yet, but it is expected to be released in beta form in November, with an official release date in early 2026 to be confirmed.
Evoto has also launched a new mobile app, Evoto Instant, designed for event and wedding photographers. This app allows users to set up the shoot before firing the shutter, including selecting presets, retouching guidelines, applying watermarks, and defining export criteria. It also allows users to tether their phone, perform automatic culling, edits, and photo sharing from anywhere.
It's worth noting that users' photos are not used to train the Evoto Video algorithm. Instead, licensed or sourced photos and imagery purchased from Evoto users are used.
The team behind Evoto Video is focused on delivering consistent frame-by-frame edits to avoid flickering or 'blinking'. The software supports 4K video and offers flexible export in MP4 and MOV formats.
United Internet AG, the company behind Evoto, continues to push the boundaries of AI-powered photo and video editing, providing creatives with powerful tools to bring their visions to life.
