Chillax and Be in Control with Zero Pressure!

Atmospheric low pressure proves to be the solution.

Need to set up a micro-irrigation system but low pressure's got you down? Zero Pressure is the solution you've been searching for! This incredible timer controller functions brilliantly even at minimum flow rates and pressure – no sweat!

Featuring an internal valve powered by 2 x 1.5 V batteries, this controller is a game-changer for setting up a drip irrigation system. Say goodbye to complicated operations and embrace simple programming – it's a cinch!

How it Operates and Use Cases

The controller's internal ball valve isn't reliant on flow rate or pressure to function, making it independent from the system's hydraulic properties. That said, factors such as the area to be watered, pipe length, and water consumption in different zones must be taken into account:

  • Area Size
  • Pipe Length
  • Water Consumption

A well-designed irrigation system has water design values that ensure it functions optimally. Zero Pressure excels with minimal pressures and flow rates, perfect for flower beds, patios, and small vegetable gardens. To catch up on battery life, take a peek at the LED nestled between the two buttons.

Mastering the Zero Pressure Controller

Programming this controller is a piece of cake: with two rotary knobs, you can input the duration and frequency of irrigation. Voilà! You can water your plants like a pro in just two simple steps. Start time depends on when programming occurs:

Example 1: It's 08:00, I've set irrigation frequency to every hour (1 hour). Controller waters for the first time at 09:00 and continues on the hour.

Example 2: It's 08:00, I've set irrigation frequency to twice a day (every 12 hours). Controller's first watering cycle starts at 20:00 and continues every 12 hours.

Example 3: It's 08:00, I've set daily frequency (every 24 hours). Controller waters for the first time the next day at 08:00 and continues every 24 hours.

For immediate (manual) watering, flick the slider right to "ON".

Pro Tips: The delay button lets you shift the initial irrigation start by 1 hour (once press) or 2 hours (two consecutive presses). Initial start time consists of the cumulative sum of set frequency hours and delay hours.

Recommendations for Use

Zero Pressure is an outdoor timer that can be safely installed on the faucet as it's designed for weatherproof conditions. However, be sure to remove and store the controller during cold seasons and temperatures below 4°C to prevent water freezing and potential damage to the device.

To complete the system, we suggest incorporating drip tubes and drip irrigation hoses. For those new to irrigation or DIY enthusiasts, take a look at the practical micro-irrigation sets for home gardens: the MyFarm "Drip Tube" set and the MyFarm "Drip Hose" set. These sets cater to those who want a ready-to-go solution for their vegetable garden!
