Auto Sector Group rebrands as AUMOVIO, focusing on technologically advanced solutions for future transportation

AUMOVIO, the new technology and electronics company born from Continental's automotive expertise, is set to make a splash at the IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich. The company will showcase its latest advancements in connected, autonomous, and software-driven vehicles, focusing on four key themes: safe, inspiring, connected, and autonomous mobility.

Energy-Saving Drive and Brake Modules

AUMOVIO's sustainable solutions for electric vehicles (EVs) will take centre stage. The company will present the Green Electric Caliper, a hydraulic fluid-free brake technology that reduces weight, extends vehicle range, and decreases costs and carbon emissions.

In addition, AUMOVIO will unveil its next-generation corner module, a compact chassis unit that integrates braking, drive, steering, and suspension systems. This innovative design offers significantly improved maneuverability and efficiency.

Autonomous Driving Systems

AUMOVIO will exhibit its scalable system, Scalable Xelve, which includes hardware and software for assisted and automated driving. Highlights include an AI-supported night vision camera, designed to ensure safer autonomous operation in low-visibility conditions.

Integrated "Road to Cloud" Platform

AUMOVIO will introduce its software-defined vehicle platform, the Road to Cloud. This integrated platform connects vehicles to cloud computing resources, enabling sophisticated software management, updates, and cybersecurity features. The Road to Cloud platform supports the continuous development and integration of connected and autonomous vehicle functions.

Other Innovations

The AUMOVIO booth at IAA Mobility 2025 will also feature the Window Projection system, a technology that uses a powerful mini projector, an electrically dimmable side window, and intelligent software to display important information such as EV charge levels or personalized content like favourite sports team logos.

The Scalable Xelve system will also demonstrate ultra-precise, automated parking functions, AI-supported decision making for the driving experience, and a fallback solution for Level 4 autonomous driving.

The IAA Mobility 2025 will take place from September 9 to 12, 2025, with a press day on September 8. AUMOVIO's booth can be found in Hall B1, Booth B01.

These innovations reflect AUMOVIO’s strategy to bundle automotive expertise into modular, scalable technologies that prioritize sustainability, safety, and adaptability for OEM partnerships and future mobility trends. The launch at IAA Mobility 2025 marks AUMOVIO’s debut as an independent company focused on advancing connected, autonomous, and software-driven vehicles.
