AWS and Resilience Collaborate on Cybersecurity Threats
Resilience, CrowdStrike, and AWS Collaborate to Empower Enterprise Cybersecurity
In a groundbreaking move, Resilience, CrowdStrike, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have joined forces to empower enterprises in proactively managing cyber risks. This collaboration aims to help businesses understand, quantify, communicate, and manage their cyber risks more effectively, aligning cybersecurity efforts with business outcomes and insurance needs.
The new partnership brings together three strategic elements: risk mitigation, risk quantification, and risk transfer. By combining security telemetry from CrowdStrike Falcon and AWS services like AWS Security Hub within Resilience’s Threatonomics Platform, the collaboration enables customers to validate the proper deployment of security controls, identify and mitigate misconfigurations, and prioritize risk mitigation strategies based on financial impact.
Key Features of the Collaboration
- Security Posture Assessment: The Resilience Threatonomics Platform uses telemetry from CrowdStrike Falcon and AWS services to assess and improve security posture.
- Mitigation Strategies: The collaboration provides recommendations for mitigation strategies, testing against common cyber risk scenarios such as ransomware and business interruptions.
- Executive Reporting Tools: Offering executive reporting tools that combine technical security data with business context, enabling better communication with boards and oversight bodies.
- Enhanced Cyber Insurance Terms: Risk transfer allows qualifying joint customers to unlock stronger cyber insurance coverage terms through Resilience’s affiliated insurance companies.
Since launching, Resilience has been expanding the availability of its award-winning cyber risk solutions. This collaboration marks another significant step in this expansion, with Resilience's solutions now available to serve large enterprise accounts with revenue greater than £10 billion.
To further strengthen its European operations, Resilience has expanded into Germany and Austria, appointing Thorsten Mairhofer as Head of Resilience's operations in these regions. CrowdStrike, too, has achieved the AWS Security Incident Response Ready specialization, recognising it as an AWS Partner that helps customers effectively reduce cyber risk.
Resilience achieved the AWS Cyber Insurance Competency in 2023, recognising it as an AWS Partner that helps customers improve their security posture and find affordable cyber insurance policies. This collaboration is a testament to the shared commitment of Resilience, CrowdStrike, and AWS to help enterprises navigate the complex world of cybersecurity and risk management.
