Bergisch Gladbach Hosts Climate-Focused Building Event This Weekend
Bergisch Gladbach is set to host an informative event, Bergische Bautage, at Konrad-Adenauer-Platz this coming weekend, September 27 and 28, 2025. The event, held in the large park tent, will focus on climate-conscious building, renovation, and protection against heavy rain and flooding.
Representing several cities, including Bergisch Gladbach, Overath, Rösrath, Wermelskirchen, and Kürten, local teams will staff a joint booth. These teams, specialising in rain management, property drainage, heat planning, climate protection, and adaptation, will provide valuable insights and advice.
Visitors can expect interactive exhibits, such as a thermal insulation box and a VR headset for exploring renovation options. Certified energy advisors and volunteer solar advisors will also be present to discuss individual measures for homes and available local funding.
The event will run from 10 am to 6 pm, offering a full day of learning and engagement for attendees.
