Blum-Novotest Inc. unveils a new global competence center in Boone County, marking one of four worldwide locations.

In a strategic move to enhance its global strategy, Blum-Novotest GmbH, a leading manufacturer of high-quality measurement and testing technology, has opened a new Blum-Novotest Competence Center (BNCC) in Erlanger, Kentucky. This modern hub of technical information, resources, and know-how is specifically designed to serve the needs of the Americas market.

Located near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), the BNCC functions as a regional procurement center, improving supply chain efficiency and responsiveness for Blum-Novotest products in North America. The center is equipped with a fully equipped technical center for software development for relevant machine controls, and it houses a highly qualified regional team providing needs-based process consulting and optimization.

Lilian Barraud, President and Regional Manager Americas for Blum-Novotest, Inc., stated that the BNCC is part of Blum-Novotest's mission to consolidate its global expertise to provide fast and efficient measuring solutions to local industries. The BNCC is one of four global competence centers, consolidating Blum-Novotest expertise worldwide, ensuring consistent, fast, and efficient measuring solutions across markets.

The BNCC is set up to quickly answer specific market requirements and serves as a modern hub of technical information, resources, and know-how, tailored specifically for the Americas region. It adds the capability to perform local repairs and assemblies, shortening turnaround times and enhancing service quality. The measuring systems supported by BNCC are ideally positioned to enable "lights out manufacturing" in job shop operations as well as in harsh, high-production facilities, boosting productivity.

By focusing on local market demands and offering tailored support, the BNCC strengthens the company’s ability to serve customers more effectively in the Americas, complementing the global network. The center's capacity to pilot software development for machine controls supports Blum-Novotest’s innovation pipeline, aligning product capabilities with evolving global manufacturing trends.

The BNCC expansion has optimized the supply chain process and has been celebrated in a special event. With this strategic asset, Blum-Novotest GmbH continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing fast, customized solutions and innovation that meet specific market needs in the Americas, while leveraging a global network of competence centers.
