DeFi Technologies, a leading innovator in the digital asset space, has made a significant stride in its strategic growth strategy with the successful launch of its subsidiary Valour's world-first physically-backed Bitcoin staking Exchange Traded Product (ETP) on the London Stock Exchange.

The launch has been met with enthusiasm, as evidenced by a 5% increase in DeFi Technologies' stock following the announcement. This ETP, named 1Valour Bitcoin Physical Staking (1VBS), offers professional investors Bitcoin exposure along with an annual staking yield of 1.4%.

Valour, positioned as a leading ETP issuer, has over 85 listed products on European exchanges. The new staking ETP is the next evolutionary stage of regulated crypto investment vehicles, bridging traditional finance markets with digital asset investments.

Olivier Roussy Newton, CEO of DeFi Technologies, expressed pride in presenting the world's first Bitcoin staking ETP on the London Stock Exchange. Elaine Buehler, Head of Product at Valour, confirmed an ambitious roadmap for expansion.

The UK has been consistently easing restrictions on digital asset investments, and the London Stock Exchange introduced its first standard Bitcoin and Ether ETPs in May 2024. This latest launch represents a significant regulatory shift in the digital asset investment market.

Binance Research, an institution that recently analysed DeFi Technologies, will present the results of their analysis in September 2023. Their report highlights the rise of DeFi lending driven by institutional interest and tokenized real-world assets as collateral.

However, it's important to note that this article does not provide guidance on whether investors should sell now or buy into DeFi Technologies. For those seeking advice, a free analysis from September 19 provides guidance for DeFi Technologies shareholders on whether to buy or sell.

Initially, the ETP is available to professional and institutional investors in British Pounds and Euros. Retail investors in the UK will gain access from October 8, 2025.

Recently, DeFi Technologies has made investments to promote regulated stablecoin adoption in Africa, further underscoring its commitment to expanding the reach of digital asset investments.

The success of this launch underscores DeFi Technologies' strategic growth strategy and its role as a trailblazer in the digital asset space. The latest DeFi Technologies figures speak volumes, urging action for shareholders.
