BYD Unveils 2025 Han Sedan: Faster, More Efficient, and Affordable
BYD has unveiled the 2025 Han sedan with significant upgrades to both hybrid and electric news models. The new range includes the fastest accelerating Han to date and improved energy performance.
The 2025 Han DM-i hybrid can now sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.9 seconds, outpacing its predecessor. This impressive speed is thanks to the new DM 5.0 system and a thermal efficiency of 45.3 percent, consuming only 3.8 L per 100 km on low battery charge.
The top-of-the-line Han limousine, the Han L900H, features LiDAR and the advanced DiPilot 300 driver assistance system. Despite its premium features, the 2025 Han EV news are priced lower than their predecessors, making them more accessible.
BYD has also introduced the 800 V high-voltage architecture to the pure electric Han EV, improving its energy performance. The LiDAR option is now available on the hybrid Han DM-i for the first time, enhancing safety and convenience.
The 2025 Han sedan range starts at RMB 165,800 ($23,300) for the hybrid DM-i, a RMB 4,000 reduction from the previous model.
