Carado Introduces Innovative Campervan Layout for 2025 Season

Carado, a leading manufacturer of campervans, has unveiled a new layout for its 2025 season. The highlight of this layout is a unique permanent staircase leading up to a bed in a pop-up roof, a first for a budget brand like Carado [1].

Based on the Fiat Ducato chassis, the new campervan boasts a cab separated by a partition from the living area. The staircase, situated immediately behind the cab and in front of the sliding door, integrates storage compartments, a half-height fridge, and a tall, slimline wardrobe [1].

The rear lounge features parallel settees located behind a side kitchen, providing ample seating and space for relaxation [1]. The vehicle length is approximately 5.41 meters, making it compact yet spacious.

This innovative use of a permanent staircase is more commonly found on larger motorhomes but is new to campervans in this pricing segment [1]. The model also sports a fresh front design with exclusive Pro graphics, folding cab blinds, and a 3.75m awning, enhancing outdoor use [3].

The Pro+ Pack, including an awning, a color-coded bumper, alloy wheels, special decals, and cab blinds, is now available on the CV600 and CV640 campervan models, and across all of the van range [4].

Carado has made changes to the chassis of all its vehicles for the 2025 season, with improvements such as improved driver assistance features and aerodynamic exterior mirrors [5].

In addition, the CV590, a shorter cousin of the CV602, is being made available as a special Edition25 4×4 vehicle this year [6]. The CV590 comes fitted with a 170bhp engine, extended panels on both sides at the back, an opening rear window, and the same oven and sink found in low-profile motorhomes from Carado [6].

The towing capacity for Ford-based vehicles from Carado has been increased to 2 tonnes [7]. Citroen-based vehicles from Carado come with automatic transmission as standard, in addition to aerodynamic mirrors [8].

The CV602 is 5.99m long and comes with fixed single beds in the back, with an optional pop-up roof. Prices for the campervans start at £55,690, for vans at £55,290, for low-profiles at £61,590, for overcabs at £62,790, and for A-classes at £75,990 [9].

Malibu has also introduced its first Mercedes-based campervan, further expanding the range of options available for campervan enthusiasts in 2025.
