CiTTi Awards 2024: Tickets Now Available for November's Transport Celebration
The third annual Citi Awards, set for November 26, 2024, at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, has opened ticket sales. Tables of 10 and individual seats are available, offering access to a pre-ceremony drinks reception, a three-course dinner, the trophy-giving presentation, and networking opportunities with 200 transport professionals. Comedian Andrew Ryan will host the event.
One of the coveted awards, the Smart Parking Award, recognises innovative parking schemes that optimise urban space and enhance user experience. Nominees include Q-Park UK's PaSS system, combining ANPR and QR codes for seamless, ticketless access, and APCOA's ScanPay, enabling smartphone-based parking tariff options and payments. Successful submissions demonstrated creative thinking in reducing traffic congestion and emissions. The ceremony will be attended by leading transport professionals from local, regional, and central government, as well as other place stakeholders.
