CityFibre's Q3 2025: 730,000 Connections, £172M Revenue
CityFibre, the UK's largest independent full-fibre provider, has seen remarkable growth. The company now boasts around 730,000 connections, with a significant boost from ISP partners. This progress comes under the leadership of new CEO Simon Holden, who replaced Greg Mesch.
CityFibre's Q3 2025 results reflect this growth. Revenue soared to £43 million, with an annualised run rate of £172 million. Adjusted EBITDA hit £7.6 million, with an annual run rate of £30 million. This impressive performance was driven by a near doubling of customer connections to 108,000 in the same quarter.
The company's success can be attributed to several strategic moves. It launched a 5.5GB wholesale product, completed a 10Gb XGS-PON upgrade ahead of schedule, and secured a £2.3 billion financing package in July. Additionally, Sky's launch of broadband services across CityFibre's nationwide network has opened up new opportunities.
CityFibre's growth story continues under Simon Holden's leadership. With around 730,000 connections and strong financial results, the company is poised for further expansion. Its 10Gb upgrade and strategic partnerships, such as with Sky, position CityFibre favourably in the competitive broadband market.
