Coinbase Brings Crypto to 75M Samsung Galaxy Users

Coinbase, a prominent crypto exchange, has broadened its services with Samsung. Galaxy device owners can now leverage Coinbase's features directly through their Samsung Wallet, and even facilitate everyday purchases using cryptocurrencies via Samsung Pay. This integration builds on Coinbase's strategic partnerships and ratings upgrade.

Coinbase has enriched its user experience by offering free trading fees and increased staking rewards through integration. Samsung Galaxy device owners can now access Coinbase One via the native Samsung Wallet, eliminating the need for a separate app. Additionally, Samsung Pay is now connected to Coinbase accounts, allowing users to make everyday purchases using cryptocurrencies.

Coinbase's business strategy transformation has been bolstered by partnerships with major financial institutions like JPMorgan and PNC. The company has also integrated decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms such as Morpho, fostering innovation and user engagement in Web3 financial services. Rothschild Redburn Investment Bank has recognized these efforts, upgrading Coinbase's rating from 'Neutral' to 'Buy'.

Through its partnership with Samsung, Coinbase is poised to bring its crypto services to over 75 million Galaxy smartphones in the US. This expansion, coupled with its strategic partnerships and ratings upgrade, signals a promising future for Coinbase in the burgeoning cryptocurrency market.
