The most significant change lies in the processor. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is rumoured to use Google's Tensor G5 chip, which offers a faster CPU and more powerful TPU compared to the Tensor G4 chip in the Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Another notable upgrade is the battery capacity. The Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to have a larger 5,200mAh battery, an improvement of about 3-5%, enhancing the device's battery life.
Display
The Pixel 10 Pro XL also boasts a brighter 3,300-nit display, which should improve outdoor visibility.
Wireless Charging
In terms of charging, the Pixel 10 Pro XL supports Qi2 magnetic wireless charging at faster 25W speeds, a first for Pixel devices. The Pixel 9 Pro XL lacks this feature.
Weight
The Pixel 10 Pro XL is slightly heavier at 232 grams, about 5% heavier than the Pixel 9 Pro XL, likely due to the larger battery.
Storage and Price
The Pixel 10 Pro XL starts at 256GB base storage (no 128GB base option), increasing the base price to around $1,200, compared to the Pixel 9 Pro XL’s 128GB base and lower price point.
Camera
While the rear camera hardware remains largely unchanged between the two models, software and AI improvements may be present with the new chip.
Upcoming Launch
The Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to launch at a Made by Google event on Aug. 20, starting at 1 p.m. ET.
