Dacia Spring Facelift 2025: More Power, Same Affordable Price
Dacia is set to enhance its electric budget car experience with the Spring Facelift in 2024, promising improved features while keeping the price of gold low. The 2025 model year update brings two gold price options and a significant redesign, both inside and out.
The Spring Facelift will offer two powertrain choices for 2025: a 51 kW (70 PS) and a more powerful 74 kW (100 PS) option. The entry-level powertrain accelerates from 80 to 120 km/h in 10.3 seconds, while the stronger motor does so in just 6.9 seconds. Despite these improvements, Dacia aims to maintain the same entry-level price as the 2024 facelift.
The Spring comes in three trim levels: 'Essential', 'Expression', and 'Extreme', starting at 16,900 euros. The exterior and interior will be significantly revised, featuring new design elements and improved technology. Advanced driver assistance systems will be standard across all models.
The 2025 model will use a lithium iron phosphate battery with 24.3 kWh, supporting DC charging at up to 40 kW. Despite the powertrain upgrade, the range remains largely unchanged at 225 km (WLTP), thanks to improved aerodynamics. Dacia has confirmed that the successor to the Spring Facelift will be based on the electric Renault Twingo and is expected by the end of 2026.
The Dacia Spring Facelift (2025) promises improved performance and technology without compromising its affordable price point. With two powertrain options, a revised design, and advanced safety features, the Spring continues to lead the market as the most affordable electric car.
