Electric Vauxhall Frontera provides a range of 253 miles for under £28,000
Vauxhall Introduces Extended Range Frontera Electric
Vauxhall has expanded its electric vehicle lineup with the introduction of a new Extended Range version of the Frontera Electric crossover. This latest model comes with a choice of two powertrains, offering customers more options to go green.
Two Powertrains, More Choices
The new Frontera Electric is now available with a 54kWh battery pack, an upgrade from the standard 44kWh. This upgrade increases the vehicle's WLTP range to up to 253 miles per charge, providing enhanced driving capabilities. The 54kWh Frontera Electric retains the same 111bhp, 192lb ft front-mounted motor as the 44kWh model.
Improved Performance
The 54kWh Frontera Electric boasts a 0-62mph time of 13 seconds and a top speed of 88mph, offering a smoother and quicker driving experience.
Pricing and Grant Eligibility
The starting price for the 54kWh Frontera Electric is £27,495. Given the eligibility of the Citroën e-C3 Aircross, it is likely that the Frontera Electric will qualify for the £1,500 UK government's Electric Car Grant.
Finance Offers and Delivery
Vauxhall offers 0% PCP finance options on the Frontera Electric, along with certain deposit contributions. However, UK deliveries of the Frontera Electric have been delayed due to production ramp-up issues.
Despite the delay, Vauxhall retailers are ready to support customers through the purchase process, and the grant guarantee is in effect from August 6 to August 31, 2025. This suggests that customer ordering and delivery are either starting or imminent.
Stay tuned for more updates on the Vauxhall Frontera Electric and its availability in the UK.
