In the aftermath of a two-hour service disruption on online platform X, entrepreneur Elon Musk has announced his plans to redouble his efforts on leading his diverse portfolio of companies. The recent outage, which impacted users worldwide, prompted Musk to acknowledge the need for enhanced operational improvements.
"With the operational issues at X this week coming to light, it's clear that larger changes are required," Musk stated after the outage was resolved. "I need to dedicate extra attention to X/xAI and Tesla (as well as the upcoming Starship launch next week) because we're introducing groundbreaking technologies to the market," Musk explained. The outage struck just before 3 PM Central European Summer Time, and regular services were mostly restored by around 5 PM.
Starship LaunchSpaceX, the space company Musk also oversees, intends to launch its Starship rocket once more into space next week following a pair of test flights that saw the rocket's top stage explode. The engineering team at X confirmed the data center outage, which led to widespread service disruptions across countries such as the US, India, and parts of Europe, and worked diligently to remedy the issue.
