Epson's new SurePress L-5034 Printing Machine Debuts at LabelExpo 2025, Highlighting Three Different Closure Options
The global packaging market is set for a significant shift with several leading companies choosing Epson's latest offering, the SurePress L-5034 digital label printer.
EAP Mérieux, a French company specialising in self-adhesive labels, has announced its decision to adopt the SurePress L-5034 as part of its innovation strategy. Xavier Hilaire, CEO of EAP Mérieux, stated that the new printer helps meet customer demands for shorter production times without compromising on print quality and finishing.
The OSP Group, a leading global corporation in the packaging market, will also deploy the SurePress L-5034 across its entire production network. Tadashi Matsuguchi, President and CEO of the OSP Group, decided to adopt the SurePress L-5034 to standardize high-quality, color-accurate label production across their global sites.
The SurePress L-5034 boasts several advanced features designed to enhance efficiency and print quality. It uses Optimizer Liquid Technology for better image quality and has a PrecisionCore printhead that delivers native resolution up to 1200 dpi. The printer also has an integrated camera system for automatic image quality adjustment and an automatic nozzle verification system (NVT) for uninterrupted printing.
Moreover, the SurePress L-5034 has a robust web transport system with a web width of 340 mm and roll guides capable of supporting up to 120kg. It also offers an ink set that includes CMYK, Orange, Green, and optional White, making it suitable for a variety of label printing needs.
Suzhou LVMAN Digital Technology Co. Ltd., a Chinese company, and three other companies - Shanghai Yijia Packaging Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Xinzheng Color Printing Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Jinhao Printing Co., Ltd. - have also chosen the SurePress L-5034.
Epson Deutschland GmbH has confirmed three deals for its new digital label printer, further underscoring its potential in the market. The new SurePress L-5034 will be available from September 2025 and will be showcased at the Epson booth (Stand E35, Hall 3) at Labelexpo 2025.
The SurePress L-5034 is poised to revolutionize the label printing industry, offering efficient production lines for high-quality color labels on a variety of materials while meeting food safety and color accuracy requirements. The adoption by major players in the industry suggests a promising future for this innovative product.
