Expansion Moves Forward: Automation Expert Xenon Increases Presence in Dresden

Xenon Automation Technology, a leading manufacturer of automated production systems, is set to enhance its production capabilities with the construction of a new assembly hall in Dresden. The investment of 3.5 million euros aims to strengthen the company's position in the region and improve logistics, centralizing production at the Dresden site.

According to Sebastian Popp, Director of Production and Purchasing, the new production hall will help Xenon close an important gap at the production site, reducing logistics effort. The construction is a clear vote of confidence in the Dresden region, reflecting Xenon's commitment to its growth and development in the city.

The new assembly hall will also house innovative assembly processes developed by Xenon in collaboration with Sunfire, a leading manufacturer of hydrogen electrolysers. These processes enable the precise alignment of fuel cell stack components during assembly, a significant advancement in the production of future technologies.

Xenon serves customers overseas from its foreign sites, not only in service but also in development and production. The company currently has around 325 employees at its Dresden site, 90 in China, and 55 in Mexico. The foreign sites of Xenon are growing rapidly, contributing to the company's resilience in the international market.

The Managing Director of Xenon Automation Technology, Tobias Reissmann, emphasises the necessity of becoming more productive and efficient in a competitive environment. He states that the plans for the new hall have been in the drawer for four years, demonstrating Xenon's consistent focus on the development of recent years, not only on growth in terms of area but also driving networking forward.

Examples of future technologies produced by Xenon include electronic components for renewable energies and sensors for autonomous driving. The company's investment in the new hall is not related to the announced economic program of the federal government.

Since settling in the industrial area of Coschütz-Gittersee in 1994, Xenon Automation Technology has been continuously acquiring and developing assembly areas. The company's diverse focus on the production of future technologies ensures its independence from a single industry, making it a valuable player in the global market.

While the precise individual's name of the Managing Director of Xenon Automation Technology could not be confirmed, the company achieved a record turnover of 88 million euros in 2024, reflecting its strong performance in the industry.

In conclusion, Xenon Automation Technology's investment in the new assembly hall in Dresden marks a significant step forward in its growth and development. The company's focus on innovation, efficiency, and networking positions it well for the future, as it continues to serve customers worldwide with its automated production systems.
