Expansion of TournEvent platform by Everi into new hotels, casinos, and resorts markets
In a strategic move to meet the evolving demands of the gaming industry, Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire, has become the latest venue to host the TournEvent platform. This launch is part of Everi's dedication to supporting the growth and success of new gaming markets.
The TournEvent platform, which supplies North America with over 5,000 electronic gaming machines, is designed to introduce a dynamic tournament experience. The debut installation at Gate City Casino is an effort to bring this exciting new offering to the HHR market.
Jesse DeBruin, Senior Vice President at Everi Holdings, expressed his enthusiasm for the TournEvent launch in a press release. DeBruin's career history with Everi Holdings is not currently extensively documented in the public domain.
Gate City Casino, now under the ownership of Delaware North following its acquisition in 2023, boasts over 500 Historical Horse Racing (HHR) machines. With this launch, Everi Holdings Inc. is making a significant stride into the HHR market.
It is important to note that Gate City Casino is not the only casino where TournEvent is installed. The platform is present in over 400 casinos across North America.
In a major industry development, Everi Holdings Inc. and IGT were acquired by Apollo Global Management for $6.3 billion in July 2024. The merger between the two companies is scheduled to be completed by September 2025. This merger is expected to further strengthen Everi's position in the gaming industry.
This exciting development at Gate City Casino marks a significant milestone for both the casino and Everi Holdings Inc., as they continue to innovate and adapt to the ever-changing landscape of the gaming industry.
