Experience Immersive Reality at Microsoft's Village Showcase in 2023

Microsoft's HoloLens team, along with a consortium of partners, will be showcasing their immersive technology solutions at the 25th international event dedicated to cutting-edge technologies. The HoloLens 2 mixed reality headset will be demonstrating various applications in the industrial sector, with a focus on production, maintenance, and training.

Each partner will provide exclusive demos for visitors to try, illustrating how the technology has already been adopted by customers. Among the committed partners, half are focused on industrial applications. Six partners will display use cases for production, maintenance assistance, or data visualization.

Spectral TMS, for example, has designed a digital maintenance solution that has resulted in a 33% reduction in training time and an 80% reduction in companion time for its operators. Theoris has recorded production time savings of over 30% for its customers, utilizing the OmniStep solution with hologram technology to streamline complex assembly and inspection procedures.

Other industrial partners attending the event include PTC, offering design, collaboration, maintenance, monitoring, and visualization solutions; Sopra Steria, presenting its industrial metaverse used by Airbus and the French Ministry of the Army; Prodware, providing a 360° digital transformation solution, incorporating artificial intelligence; and Capgemini, showcasing its industrial digital twin and immersive remote assistance platform.

Mixed reality technology also proves beneficial for professional training, with three partners presenting their expertise in this field. Synergiz, a key player in mixed reality, will exhibit its Synergiz Harbor solution for real-time collaboration in 3D projects. Clients utilizing this immersive tool have experienced savings in costs, improved collaboration, and better team understanding.

Insight, with 33 years of expertise in IT, will showcase its training solutions across numerous sectors, including industry. Its customers have enjoyed cost savings with a 70% reduction in travel budgets and a 65% reduction in physical prototypes. HoloForge Interactive, considered a pioneer in mixed reality, will present a demonstration of training in the nuclear industry using the HoloLens headset.

Furthermore, Microsoft's event will highlight various uses of mixed reality, with three partners presenting case studies on communication and events. HoloForge Interactive will share a cultural experience centered around the iconic Josephine Baker, while Conseil 3D will present the HoloLive solution for generating holograms of products during events or videoconferences. Lastly, All Virtual's "Scene" tool, designed for the industrial sector, allows for demonstrations of complex processes within a factory or the interaction with holograms.

In summary, Microsoft's partners will exhibit their mixed reality solutions for the industrial sector, with specific emphasis on production, maintenance, and training applications. Demonstrations by the eleven partners will take place at booth B41 during the 25th international event from April 12 to 14, 2023.
