Global expansion of Africhange's money transfer services now covers the UK market
Africhange Enters the UK Market, Offering Affordable and Efficient International Money Transfers
Africhange, a global remittance services provider, has made its entry into the United Kingdom market. The company, founded by David Ajala, aims to improve the global payments experience for the African diaspora by offering competitive rates, seamless, cost-effective, and user-friendly services.
With an Authorised Payment Institution License in hand, Africhange is ready to offer a range of money transfer solutions to UK users. The company currently supports real-time international fund transfers across over 100 global corridors, including from Canada, Nigeria, Australia, and the UK to various countries worldwide.
Africhange accommodates a wide range of currencies, making it easier for users to send and receive money in US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Chinese Yen, Nigerian Naira, Kenyan Shillings, Ghanaian Cedis, Indian Rupees, Australian Dollars, British Pound Sterling, and others.
David Ajala, the founder and CEO of Africhange, emphasized the company's commitment to making international money transfers more accessible, affordable, and efficient for users as it expands globally. He highlighted Africhange's mission to address high remittance costs, which can reach up to 15 percent in certain cases, particularly in Africa.
Nigeria, one of the largest recipients of money transfers from the UK, will be among the first countries to benefit from Africhange's international money transfer services. The company plans to include Nigeria, Ghana, and Kenya in its services by the end of 2024.
In addition to money transfer services, Africhange aims to broaden its range of payment and financial services for users. The company is introducing its loyalty program, Afripoints, to the UK market. Enrolled students at UK universities will even enjoy discounted exchange rates.
The UK-Africa money transfer corridor transferred over $8 billion to various African countries in 2023, making it a significant market for Africhange. As the company continues to target expansion across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, it is poised to make a significant impact on the global money transfer landscape.
