Global gathering aims to draw in 10,000 attendees for the 2025 CIBN conference
18th Annual Conference of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) to Unveil 'The New Economic Playbook'
The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) is set to host its 18th Annual Banking and Finance Conference in 2025, with the event scheduled to be held in Abuja. This year's conference, themed 'The New Economic Playbook: The Intersection of Banking, Policy, and Technology', will bring together policymakers, regulators, operators, academics, clients, and other stakeholders for a dynamic discussion on the future of the financial services industry.
Prof. Pius Olanrewaju, the President and Chairman of Council at CIBN, and Mrs Miriam Olusanya, the Chairman of the Consultative Committee for the conference, will lead the proceedings. Olumide Olusanya, the Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank, has been announced as the moderator of the conference.
The conference aims to continuously create new operational frameworks and provide a platform for cross-sector dialogue, knowledge sharing, and strategies to address emerging challenges in the banking and finance industry. 'Navigating the AI Revolution: Strategic Direction for Financial Institutions' will explore the role of artificial intelligence in shaping the future of the financial services industry.
