HiFi Rose previews upcoming RS451 audio streamer, featuring HDMI eARC and AirPlay connectivity technologies

Grab the Inside Scoop on HiFi Rose's Latest Music Streamer, the RS451!

In a thrilling unveiling at the High End Munich show, HiFi Rose has revealed their latest network player, the RS451. Although official pricing details are still under wraps, we've got the latest scoop on this stylish new addition to their family of network players.

At the heart of the RS451 lies an ES9027 PRO(ESS) DAC, capable of handling PMC files up to 32-bit/868kHz alongside DSD512. Impressively, this device offers a plethora of physical connections, including coaxial, optical, and even an HDMI eARC digital input for seamless TV hookups. Additionally, there are coaxial, optical, and USB-A digital outputs, along with balanced and unbalanced analogue outs to cater to various setups.

Three headphone outputs, including XLR, 4.4mm, and 6.3mm, are placed thoughtfully at the front for a personalized listening experience.

While we're not privy to the full list of streaming platforms that the RS451 supports beyond Spotify, we do know that aptX Bluetooth and AirPlay are on the menu. Furthermore, the RS451 is Roon Ready, hinting at possible compatibility with Roon's streaming services. We anticipate other popular platforms like Tidal and Qobuz may also be included, given their widespread acceptance in the audiophile community[2].

The RS451 maintains the sleek aesthetic we've come to appreciate in HiFi Rose's previous music streamers and all-in-one units, featuring a 9.9-inch LCD touch capacitive touch screen and a large volume dial on the right side of the player. In a striking color palette, the unit will be available in both silver and black finishes[3].

Stay tuned for more details on the availability and pricing of the HiFi Rose RS451. Once we have them, we'll be sure to keep you in the loop!
