IGT PlaySports and Corporación Caliente Partner to Boost Sports Betting Offerings in Latin America
In a significant move for the sports betting industry, IGT PlaySports and Corporación Caliente have announced a multi-year partnership. This collaboration aims to elevate Corporación Caliente's sports betting offerings across Latin America.
As one of the largest sports betting operators in the region, IGT PlaySports will deploy its platform in 42 retail sportsbooks across Mexico. The expansion will also extend to more than 100 additional venues in eight Latin American countries, including Antigua, Argentina, Aruba, Brazil, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
The partnership includes the involvement of IGT’s Trading Advisory Services Team to support sportsbook operations and growth. This team will provide operational support, ensuring a seamless and reliable sports betting experience for players.
Eduardo Hernández Triana, CEO of Grupo Caliente, expressed his excitement about the partnership. He highlighted IGT’s global experience and platform reliability as critical factors in elevating their sports betting offerings across Latin America.
Joe Bertolone, senior vice president of sports betting at IGT, commented on the expansion, stating that they are working closely with the Corporación Caliente team to deliver a future-proofed solution. He added that the partnership will begin with the rollout of IGT PlaySports solution in 42 Caliente retail sportsbooks in Mexico, with plans to expand to other countries in the future.
This partnership marks an exciting milestone for Corporación Caliente, as they aim to engage sports enthusiasts in nine countries. The solution is designed to meet regional needs and scale with future opportunities, providing more entertainment to Corporación Caliente's players.
