Hot Wheels & Mercedes-Benz Team Up for CLA EQ Die-Cast Model in 2026
Hot Wheels and Mercedes-Benz are joining forces to release a 1:64 scale die-cast model of the Mercedes-Benz CLA in spring 2026. This exciting collaboration aims to appeal to both adult collectors and a new generation of enthusiasts.
The 1:1 implementation of the CLA EQ, a product of this collaboration, will be showcased at the California Race Service workshop. This workshop is designed as an experience world for car enthusiasts, encouraging both adults and children to engage with model cars.
The CLA EQ will also make an appearance at the Hot Wheels Legends Tour event in El Segundo, California. However, it is not intended for actual racing. Instead, it serves as a tribute to the 1980s pop culture, featuring a vibrant orange, pink, and blue color scheme with oversized flame motifs.
The CLA EQ bears a striking resemblance to older DTM models. It boasts widely flared wheel arches, a deeply drawn front spoiler, wide side skirts, a massive diffuser, and an oversized wing, giving it a bold and aggressive look.
The Mercedes CLA EQ, a result of the joint art project between Mercedes-Benz and Hot Wheels presented in Los Angeles, is set to captivate collectors and enthusiasts alike. Its unique design and vibrant colors promise to add a touch of retro fun to any collection.
