IdeasExpo 2024: THW Offers Hands-On Disaster Relief Experiences
IdeasExpo 2024 in Hannover is set to be an engaging event for all ages, with the Technisches Hilfswerk (THW) playing a significant role. From June 8 to 16, visitors can explore three THW stands, learn about disaster relief, and even test their homemade dike's resistance to water. Entry is free for all.
THW's presence at IdeasExpo 2024 will offer visitors hands-on experiences with their equipment and emergency scenarios. One stand will allow visitors to use the 'operational equipment system' (EGS) to support a building at risk of collapse. Another stand will focus on flood protection, where visitors can learn how to keep their feet dry while laying sandbags during dike construction. The highlight will be a stand where visitors can test their homemade dike's resistance to water.
Visitors can also explore career opportunities and federal voluntary service with THW at the event. The IdeasExpo 2024 will feature exciting workshops, interactive exhibits, live stage programs, and free concerts on both exhibition Saturdays.
IdeasExpo 2024 in Hannover promises to be an informative and interactive event, with THW's stands offering unique opportunities to learn about disaster relief and technical assistance. With free admission, it's an event not to be missed.
