Instagram posts, YouTube Shorts, and X updates will now be featured in Google Discover feeds
In the ever-evolving digital landscape, a tech giant is making strides to strengthen its connections between publishers, creators, and their audiences.
One such individual benefiting from this development is Ayushi Jain, a versatile personality who straddles the worlds of gaming and tech journalism. Ayushi, a Battle Grounds Mobile India (BGMI) player, is also a tech news writer, using her passion for both fields to bring the latest news from both spheres.
The tech giant's updates to its Discover feed aim to make it a more helpful starting point for exploring content. The company is planning to add more ways for people to connect directly with publishers and creators they love within Discover. This includes expanding the feed to include posts from platforms such as X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube Shorts, with further platforms to be added gradually.
In addition to these changes, the tech giant has also introduced the ability to choose preferred news sources in the Top Stories section. This allows users to customise their news feed according to their interests.
Meanwhile, OpenAI, a leading name in artificial intelligence, is taking steps to ensure a safer environment for its younger users. The company plans to restrict flirtatious and suicidal content for teen users, and is also working on an age-prediction system to further enhance user safety.
These developments underscore the tech giant's commitment to providing a more personalised and secure user experience, while OpenAI continues to lead the way in AI-driven safety measures.
