International Food and Beverage Exposition takes place in Ho Chi Minh City

The food and foodstuff industry continues to play a crucial role in HCM City's economy, as indicated by the Deputy Director of the HCM City Department of Industry and Trade. The city's exports reached US$31.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 13%, accounting for over 15% of the country's total export turnover [7]. In addition to the main expo, the "Green Packaging Forum: EPR Journey Towards Sustainable Value" is being held within the framework of the event, focusing on policies and a roadmap for implementing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) in the packaging sector [9]. The forum aims to help enterprises better understand their legal obligations and find optimal solutions in handling discarded packaging, increasing recycling rates, and designing environmentally friendly products [10].

The Vietfood & Beverage - Propack expo is expected to open up opportunities for product display, promotion, market expansion, and technology transfer for both domestic and international businesses.
