Intersolar 2016: Company Unveils Enhanced 'S10 E' Series, New Storage Lines

At Intersolar Europe from 22.-24.06.2016, the company unveiled enhancements to its home power plant 'S10 E' series. The updates include a new inverter technology, emergency power mode capabilities, and a feed-in option. Additionally, the company introduced two new product lines: String Storage and Commercial Power Plant E3/DC.

The 'S10 E' series now features TriLINK inverter technology, enabling three-phase operation in TT networks during emergency power mode. This means users can still access power even when the grid is down. Furthermore, a new inverter allows operation without feed-in via an additional module, providing more flexibility.

The company also launched String Storage, a retrofit product series that enables pure DC storage from solar modules for existing installations using TriLINK technology. This allows older systems to benefit from modern storage solutions. Moreover, a retrofit option is available to enable emergency power mode in TT networks for existing installations.

For commercial users, the company introduced Commercial Power Plant E3/DC, targeting customers up to 50,000 kWh. This product offers modular, expandable energy storage solutions with capacities up to 100 kWh for solar power systems. The 'SG-Ready' (Smart Grid) option enables control of heat pumps for the 'S10 E' series, further enhancing its versatility.

The improved 'S10 E' series is set for market launch in the third quarter of 2016, bringing enhanced emergency power capabilities and feed-in flexibility. The String Storage series will follow later in the year, with a selected customer group, allowing existing installations to upgrade to modern storage solutions. Meanwhile, commercial users can look forward to the modular and expandable Commercial Power Plant E3/DC, catering to their specific energy storage needs.
