Geely EX5: Affordable and Practical Electric Crossover Gains Traction
The Geely EX5, a compact electric SUV, has been making waves in the global market with its focus on practicality, competitive pricing, and modern EV features. First launched in China in 2024, the EX5 has since become a significant player in the electric vehicle landscape, selling over 150,000 units worldwide as of July 4, 2025.

Recent updates to the Geely EX5 include the addition of two new exterior colours: Dawn Blue and Evening Forest Green. The 2026 model year EX5 also offers a longer range than the initial model, with two LFP battery variants: a 60.2 kWh for 530 km and a 68.4 kWh for 610 km.
The updated 2026 model year Geely EX5 also features an upgraded suspension system with enhanced damping performance by 20%. As a result, the EX5 has become the most exported BEV A-class crossover in China.
