Kia Unveils Updated Sportage for Autumn 2025
Kia has revealed the updated Sportage, set to arrive in autumn 2025. The mid-life update brings revised styling and more technology to the popular SUV, with initial availability in petrol and full hybrid powertrains. Prices start from £30,885 for petrol models and £34,425 for hybrids.
The refreshed Sportage offers three specifications: Pure, GT-Line, and GT-Line S, all packed with features like rain-sensing wipers, climate control, a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and wireless smartphone connectivity. Petrol models, priced from £30,885, come with a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine producing 147bhp, offering a kerbweight of 1552kg and a towing capacity of 1650kg. Hybrid models, starting from £34,425, provide 235bhp and a six-speed automatic transmission, with a towing capacity of 1510kg. Four-wheel drive is optional for hybrids.
Kia has also confirmed that plug-in hybrid models will join the range later in the year, building on the current generation launched in 2021, which already offers a plug-in hybrid version.
The updated Kia Sportage brings enhanced styling and advanced technology to the family SUV segment. With initial petrol and hybrid powertrains, and plug-in hybrid models to follow, the Sportage caters to various customer needs. Prices and further details will be announced closer to the autumn 2025 launch.
