Launches Tether's QVAC: A decentralized AI, revolutionizing privacy and self-governance

In a groundbreaking move, Tether has introduced the QVAC platform, a new development platform for local and decentralised artificial intelligence (AI) agents. This platform promises to redefine human-machine interaction in the crypto ecosystem and set a milestone in the evolution towards a decentralised, private, and collaborative AI.

One of the key features of the QVAC platform is its ability to run AI agents directly on user devices, eliminating the need for a constant cloud connection. This approach enhances autonomy and privacy by processing data directly on devices like smartphones, keyboards, or even brain-computer interfaces.

Communication between devices in the QVAC ecosystem is supported by peer-to-peer networks, eliminating the need for intermediate servers. This decentralization also eliminates the dependence on large data centers and the cloud for the use of AI, further enhancing privacy and reducing data leak risks.

QVAC natively integrates Tether's Wallet Development Kit (WDK), enabling AI agents to execute autonomous payments in Bitcoin and USDT. This integration allows for secure and seamless financial transactions, completing complex operations without human intervention.

The QVAC platform's modular architecture facilitates the construction and expansion of applications from small, composable, and interoperable components. This design allows for a massive deployment of AI agents adapted to different needs, eliminating technical barriers.

Each device operates with agents trained specifically for the user, promoting advanced personalization that centralised systems do not allow. QVAC promotes privacy by proceeding with inferences and operations exclusively on the device, minimising risks of surveillance or filtration.

Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, emphasised that AI should empower individuals, preventing large corporations from accessing and controlling their confidential data. With QVAC, users can operate AI agents completely offline, ensuring continuity in any scenario and offering protection against attacks on centralised infrastructures.

Notable applications of the QVAC platform include QVAC/Translate and QVAC/Health, capable of performing rapid local translations and transcriptions, and monitoring health data stored exclusively on the user's device.

The QVAC ecosystem can expand to billions of AI agents without the risk of a single point of failure, making it a scalable solution for the future of AI. With its focus on autonomy, privacy, and user control, Tether's QVAC platform is poised to revolutionise the way we interact with AI.
