Ledger Drops STRAT Token Support: Swap for STRAX by Nov 12
Ledger has announced changes to its support for Stratis tokens due to a blockchain shift. The company will cease STRAT token support after 15 October 2021, encouraging users to swap their STRAT tokens for STRAX tokens by 12 November 2020.
The Stratis blockchain is transitioning, leading to an exchange of STRAT tokens for STRAX tokens. Ledger users must swap their STRAT tokens during the open window from 15 October 2020 at 9:00 AM GMT until 12 November 2020 to avoid losing token functionality or access. After this period, any remaining STRAT tokens will be burned without return on 16 October 2021.
Ledger will maintain STRAT blockchain support and the Stratis Nano app until 15 October 2021. However, the company cannot guarantee Stratis service functionality between November 2020 and October 2021. Ledger does not currently support STRAX tokens but is working to enable connection with the STRAX wallet. Users are advised to contact the Stratis team for token swap queries and Ledger support for device-related issues.
Ledger users should swap their STRAT tokens for STRAX tokens before 12 November 2020 to ensure uninterrupted access and functionality. After 15 October 2021, Ledger will discontinue STRAT token support, and any remaining STRAT tokens will be burned without return.
