LINK Stakers Set for Airdrop of SXT Tokens as Chainlink Rewards Kick Off

Space and Time, in collaboration with Chainlink, unveils a Rewards program dispensing a 200 million SXT token airdrop for eligible LINK stakers.

** CHECK OUT CHAINLINK'S LATEST MOVE: CHAINLINK REWARDS!**

The Chainlink team has shook things up with an exciting new crypto initiative: Chainlink Rewards. This program is all about recognizing and rewarding community members and activity across the Chainlink ecosystem. The brainchild of Chainlink and Space and Time, (SXT), it's set to turbocharge participation and collaboration within the Chainlink community.

How's it going to work?

Chainlink Build projects are now able to distribute native tokens to eligible community members, like those who stake LINK tokens.

Key Details of the Chainlink Rewards/SXT Airdrop

Space and Time, the first Build project to hop on board, will allocate a whopping 4% of its total SXT token supply, amounting to 200 million SXT, for distribution through the program.

The initial batch of 100 million SXT will hit the scene on May 8, 2025. Both early and present LINK stakers are eligible for this airdrop, with the claim period, known as Season Genesis, lasting a spacious 90 days. Unclaimed allocation may find its way into future reward seasons.

The debut of Chainlink Rewards has broadened the horizons of the Build program. It brings together community participants and Build projects in search of wider adoption. It's all about supporting active users and node operators who play crucial roles in the security and operation of the Chainlink Network.

Space and Time joined the Build program back in September 2022. The project has developed and elevated its decentralized database solution, which uses zero-knowledge proofs to serve up data analytics for smart contracts. Space and Time integrated Chainlink Functions in 2024 to ensure seamless on-chain delivery of ZK-proven queries.

Looking ahead, future Chainlink Rewards events may feature additional Build projects dishing out token rewards to enthusiastic ecosystem participants. May 8, 2025, is the launch date for Season Genesis, meaning eligible LINK stakers can access the distribution via official Chainlink channels.
