The PEC 1464, a new streamer and recorder from LYNX Technik, is set to revolutionise the world of professional media production and streaming. This cutting-edge device offers a multitude of features designed to cater to the diverse needs of modern content creators.

The PEC 1464 supports multiple formats in the PEC 1464, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of media. Users can choose to stream content while recording, stream only in unicast or multicast, or record only with the PEC 1464, providing flexibility for various production scenarios.

One of the key features of the PEC 1464 is its transmission fallback option, which ensures continuity with a test pattern in the event of a transmission failure, ensuring uninterrupted broadcasting. A mobile-friendly web user interface is included for easy configuration settings, making the PEC 1464 accessible and user-friendly.

The PEC 1464 is designed for multicast professional media production and streaming, distributing a single stream of audio and video content to multiple recipients simultaneously. It supports streaming to online video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and Rumble, making content distribution seamless and efficient.

The PEC 1464 is a versatile tool for streaming and recording content simultaneously. It supports video formats up to 12G/4K UHD and HDMI up to Wide Quad Ultra XGA, ensuring high-quality output. The device also includes 8-channel embedded audio processing for superior audio quality.

Downscaling features optimise resolution management in the PEC 1464, while frame-rate downconversion ensures seamless playback compatibility. The PEC 1464 also has text overlay capabilities for dynamic textual elements and includes automatic logo insertion and the ability to insert custom images.

The PEC 1464 enables streaming and archiving of live events or broadcasts to a content delivery network (CDN) while creating a backup recording for archive. It is compatible with the Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol, which optimises streaming performance across public networks like the internet.

The PEC 1464 also supports Real-Time Messaging Protocol Secure (RTMPS), providing a higher level of security for live streaming and the ability to stream multiple protocols simultaneously. The device is compatible with the LynxCentraal configuration and control software, further enhancing its usability.

The PEC 1464 is suitable for live content distribution over a CDN for global distribution or multicast within a network. As the successor to the PEC 1864, the PEC 1464 represents a significant leap forward in streaming and recording technology, offering a comprehensive solution for professional media production and streaming needs.
