Say hello to the new kid on the block, Marshall's Heston 120 — the high-fidelity soundbar that delivers on both volume and style. This bad boy promises to bring a serious dose of rock 'n' roll vibes to your living room.

Times are changing, and with ever-thinner TVs and vanishing frames, a decent set of speakers has become an essential gadget. And Marschall, known for high fidelity and classic rock 'n' roll aesthetics, believes it's got the ultimate package for any music or movie enthusiast.

First up, the sound. Marshall promises deep, rich, and clear audio with a powerful bass that out performs its slim design. The Heston 120's soundbar has been tuned for low frequencies, providing lifelike audio and special effects for an en epic impact.

Plus, this soundbar can handle all the latest sound standards. It's fully compatible with Dolby Atmos and DTS-X, and it boasts 11 individual speaker drivers aimed in different directions to deliver precise surround sound anywhere in your room.

Setting up your new Heston 120 is as easy as it gets. Just one HDMI eARC connection to your TV or home cinema amp, or use HDMI pass-through to hook it up to your streaming music setup. And if you’re jamming out on your phone, Bluetooth's got your back.

Rock with Elegance

The Heston 120 sports a design that pays homage to Marshall's legendary amp heads — complete with knurled metal knobs, wraparound leather-style tolex, and a brushed metal front panel.

And fear not, if things get too rowdy next time you play Loose Women, Marshall assures us that — just like its durable, long-life amp brethren — the Heston 120 is completely repairable with replaceable parts.

On the more modern side of things, the Heston 120 offers a range of digitally signaled processed audio moods, including Music, Movie, Night, and Voice, each fine-tuned to present your chosen entertainment in the best way possible. And if you'd prefer to control your audio experience from the comfort of your couch, the Marshall app is here to help. It even listens to your room during setup, eliminating the need for a front-of-house sound guy.

More Than Just a Piece of Equipment

"Soundbar owners use their soundbar mainly for music, yet most soundbars aren't built for both music and TV. This gave us a reason to exist and an opportunity to really shine with our legacy in music and audio." remarks Anders Olsson, Senior Product Manager at Marshall Group. "We spent hundreds of hours fine-tuning Heston 120. It was important to us that we spent equal time and effort on both TV and music, not one over the other. Everything inside is tailored and engineered to have very specific roles to give you the best audio experience, regardless of what you're watching or listening to," adds Ed Camphor, Audio Technology and Tuning Lead at Marshall Group.

Making a Statement

To celebrate its new home-focused, retro-inspired speaker, Marshall partnered with Dan and Justin Hawkins of The Darkness for a throwback MTV Cribs-style YouTube video. If you missed MTV's peek into the homes of the rich and famous, no worries: the video features an appearance by the trendy Nova Twins.

"We had a blast inviting Marshall into our home. No one has ever seen where the Hawkins brothers live — Justin and I are basically hermits, living in total silence apart from when we listen to our majestic Marshall soundbars that fill every room," offers Dan Hawkins.

Stay tuned for more bass-centric announcements, such as the Heston Sub 200 subwoofer and a more affordable Heston 60 model, coming later this year.

Pre-orders for the Heston 120 begin today and it will go on sale on June 3 on Marshall's website and at select retailers, including Currys, from September 16. grab one for £900 — 'cause your ears deserve nothing but the best. Rock on!

Integrating the latest technology with music legacy, the Heston 120 is a gadget that boasts 11 individual speaker drivers and compatibility with Dolby Atmos and DTS-X for an immersive audio experience. With a design inspired by Marshall's iconic amp heads, this soundbar promises more than just a piece of equipment – it's a statement in your living room dedicate to rock 'n' roll.
