Modernizing 20 traffic lights in Omsk.
Building up from May 1st, 2025, our city's construction crew will kick off the installation of a state-of-the-art traffic monitoring system. The system will be rolled out across 20 key intersections, in addition to the installation of 36 state-of-the-art traffic detectors.
This new system will include four software modules:
- Smart Traffic Signal Management: It will enable the system to intelligently coordinate and manage traffic signals, optimizing traffic flow in real-time.
- Transportation Forecasting and Simulation: Predictive analytics will help anticipate traffic patterns and congestion, enabling the system to adjust in advance.
- Intelligent Transportation System Efficiency Monitor: This module will analyze the system's performance and make real-time adjustments based on traffic data, ensuring top efficiency.
- Electronic Control Module: This module will link up the entire traffic management system for seamless coordination and increased effectiveness.
The implementation of this intelligent transportation system offers several benefits, including:
