New Post Management Feature Enhances Version History Control
A new feature has been introduced to enhance post management. The 'Status' column now tracks the status of each post, displaying whether it's live, requires revision, or has other statuses. For posts with numerous changes, a 'Load More' button appears, allowing users to view more history logs.
The Post History logs now record 'Unsaved Changes', ensuring no modifications are overlooked. Each list item in the Version History list offers a 'Restore' button when hovered over, enabling users to revert to previous post versions. The list itself displays changes made, including the author, date, and actions taken, even minor text tweaks. Although the search results for the last changes made to a post version do not specify an author, the name of the user who made the last change is typically displayed alongside the 'Changed on' date in certain contexts. The Version History tab allows users to view the last ten saved iterations of a post. Hovering over the 'Status' word reveals the post's status before it was changed. Unpublished or unsaved changes are clearly marked as 'Unsaved changes' in the Version History list. Users can access the Version History tab via the Post History tab in the Entry Editor's right rail.
These updates to the Version History feature provide users with more control and visibility over their posts. The ability to track changes, revert to previous versions, and view the status history improves the post management experience.
