Next-gen Vauxhall Corsa showcased in Vision Gran Turismo Concept with an extraordinary design.
In September 2025, Vauxhall will present the electric performance version of the new Corsa under the name "Vauxhall Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo Concept" at the Munich Auto Show (IAA Mobility 2025).
The Corsa GSE Vision boasts a unique design, featuring large wings, a 'Vizor' nose, air intake, bonnet vent, a triangular roof-mounted wing, and a massive rear diffuser. The vehicle's interior is equally impressive, with a yoke steering wheel, back-lit fabrics, a heads-up display (HUD), no big screens, and a suspended lightweight driver's seat.
Weighing just 1,170kg, despite having an 82kWh battery, the Corsa GSE Vision is a testament to Vauxhall's engineering prowess. Under the hood, it features an 800bhp electric powertrain, equipped with two 400bhp electric motors, providing 590lb/ft of torque. This powerful setup allows the Corsa GSE Vision to accelerate from 0-62mph in an astonishing 2.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 199mph.
Vauxhall has also revealed the petrol and diesel versions of the new Corsa, which bear a resemblance to the electric Corsa. The British automaker has introduced a new GSe sub-brand for electric performance models, with the Corsa GSE Vision serving as a preview for the next-generation Corsa.
Interestingly, Volkswagen has already introduced the GTX moniker for their 'performance' electric vehicles. The Corsa GSE Vision will be playable on Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation from this autumn.
In addition to the Corsa GSE Vision, Vauxhall has also unveiled the Vauxhall Grandland GSe PHEV, the latest addition to Vauxhall's electrified GSe range. This model features all-wheel drive, further expanding Vauxhall's electrified offerings.
It is likely that the reveal of the new Corsa was planned for the same day as the Grandland GSe PHEV, marking a significant day in Vauxhall's electrification journey. The Vauxhall Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo Concept will be displayed at the Munich Motor Show in September, promising an exciting reveal for electric vehicle enthusiasts.
