Hubstaff, a leading workforce management solution, has announced a pricing update and the addition of several new and enhanced features. The changes aim to optimize team management, remote location management, project workflow automation, and provide detailed analytics, all designed to support modern and global teams efficiently and compliantly.
New and Key Features
The latest updates include the Calendar Feature for scheduling, forecasting, and handling employee absences, Location Tracking using GPS and geofenced job sites, Project Management (Hubstaff Tasks) with a Kanban-style platform, Productivity Insights for tracking employee activity levels, app/website usage, project spend, and more, Payroll Integration & Flexibility for real-time timesheets and payroll payments, and Global Payroll Compliance Integration with Deel for simplified global payroll and compliance.
Pricing Plans
Hubstaff offers a tiered pricing structure with four plans: Free, Starter, Grow, Team, and Enterprise. The Free plan includes basic time and activity tracking, while the Starter plan offers additional features such as reports, limited integrations, and faster email support. The Grow plan includes all Starter features plus unlimited app/URL tracking, auto discard idle time, project budgets, breaks, expenses, Hubstaff Tasks, and faster email support.
The Team plan, which most customers will be transitioning to, includes all the features from the Premium and Pro plans, plus additional features such as Hubstaff Insights, Hubstaff Tasks, no feature limits, and top-tier support. The Enterprise plan targets large companies needing compliance and extensive control, offering higher API limits, bank debit payments, HIPAA and SOC-2 Type II compliance, enterprise deployment, single sign-on, assigned account rep, and location tracking.
Transition Details
Customers will receive a 30-day notice before they are automatically moved to their new plan. An email 21 days prior to the transition of their plans will also be sent. Customers can view the specific pricing changes for their organization on their billing page. The Locations add-on is $4 per user/mo and can be removed at any time.
Customers will be transitioned to their respective plans throughout the year. Customers on older Premium plans using location features will have the new Locations add-on selected by default in the transition to their new plan.
Additional Improvements
Hubstaff has also revamped its mobile app, allowing users to track time, create projects and tasks, and view reports on the go. The team management process has been improved for inviting and provisioning accounts, and permissions for team leads and managers have been optimized. A new calendar has been introduced with a focus on shifts, time off, and holidays, and includes a new monthly calendar view and the ability to subscribe to calendar events.
With these additions, Hubstaff users will have access to more features than ever before, making workforce management more efficient and effective. Customers can view the plans on their own and make changes before the automatic transition if they choose to. Several in-app messages with the exact date and details of their transition will be sent.
