Pakistan Tests New Fatah-4 Cruise Missile, Expanding Reach
Pakistan has successfully tested its latest cruise missile, the Fatah-4, expanding its military strike capabilities. The launch, witnessed by top military brass and scientists, was hailed by President Asif Ali Zardari.
The Fatah-4, equipped with advanced avionics and navigational aids, can evade enemy missile defense systems and strike targets with precision. With a range of 750 kilometres, it significantly boosts Pakistan's reach.
The test launch comes as Pakistan establishes a new military unit, the Army Rocket Force Command. This command is tasked with developing long-range conventional strike capabilities, though its founding date remains unclear.
The Fatah-4's successful launch enhances Pakistan Army's conventional missile systems' reach, lethality, and survivability. The new Army Rocket Force Command will further bolster these capabilities.
