Performance enhancements coming for Chevy trucks from Callaway and Holley
Callaway and Holley Team Up to Boost Performance of GM Trucks and SUVs
In an exciting development for the automotive industry, specialist constructor Callaway and performance parts powerhouse Holley have joined forces to create dealer-approved, scalable performance packages for General Motors (GM) trucks and SUVs, as well as Corvettes.
This collaboration aims to bring wilder, weirder, and more specialized sub-models and products into the market, with the goal of offering consumers a 600-hp supercharged Suburban, among other high-performance options. The partnership targets popular GM models such as the Chevrolet Silverado, Sierra, Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade, with initial offerings focusing on supercharger packages for 5.3 and 6.2 V8 engines in trucks. Plans to expand to other vehicle models in the GM lineup are also in the works.
Performance packages will range from entry-level upgrades to premium “Pinnacle” versions, designed to deliver factory-level fit, finish, reliability, and warranty support while providing measurable performance gains. Holley will lead digital and direct-to-consumer sales channels, leveraging its marketing and logistics capabilities, while Callaway will handle engineering, development, and GM dealership relationships.
The new Callaway Performance Center in Bowling Green, Kentucky, will support production capacity, reduce lead times, and enhance customer access to dealer-backed performance solutions for both trucks/SUVs and Corvettes. This partnership aims to expand market reach and serve enthusiasts across the domestic muscle and modern off-road truck markets.
Holley and Callaway's goal is for consumers to be able to get Callaway-engineered upgrade packages at Chevy dealers. The collaboration is also exploring the "off-road" space, suggesting potential development of extreme off-road versions of vehicles like the Tahoe.
However, specifics on the process, timeline, or pricing of the performance packages have not been shared yet. Callaway has a deep history of making GM vehicles go faster, offering a catalog of supercharger systems for various GM models, including the Chevrolet Corvette, Camaro, Silverado, Suburban, and Tahoe, as well as GMC Sierra, Yukon, Yukon XL, Cadillac Escalade, and others.
This partnership between Holley and Callaway marks an important step in the integration of the aftermarket industry into dealership spaces, as they facilitate the offering of performance packages for GM trucks and SUVs. The combination of Holley's operational capabilities and Callaway's engineering, design, and craftsmanship is expected to provide performance, reliability, and warranty support consumers expect.
